The precipitating rain brings back thoughts of you and I
Playing in the wide, wet outside, hugged up for warmth
Kissing you in between the rain drops, getting you wet
I would slide my wet hands around your damp clothing
The sound of the rain hitting the ground turned us on
We would run inside to shed our chilly, soaking clothes
We would make sweet, musical love to the rain's rhythm
The beads of my sweat would rain down on your body
Becoming its own aphrodisiac as you loudly would climax
And we would lay next to each other in our own rain
Smiling at each other as the sun began to show itself
As if just for us, the birds of the day warbled and chirped
But now, I'm gone, you sit by the window, reminiscing
And now that I'm not there to make love and hold you
I ask you now, darling; can you stand the rain?
