Murder

Folks, this may be the last time I blog, because I am guilty of a crime and the police may be looking for me. The charge: murdering an interview. From start to stop, I wowed those three men with the wonderful African-American package that sat before them. They said that my graduation from ULL's engineering college convinced them of my technical expertise, and they chose to focus on the character. Boy howdy, I showed them a good what-for. I had a different swing for every curve ball they threw. I was so good to the point that all they could do was nod "I'm fine" to themselves.

Engineering-wise, I think this would be the perfect job for me. Working in a TV station (not studio) and working with broadband connections and all that other good telecommunications stuff is right up my alley. The downside is the pay. They admitted that they were not going to offer competitive pay, and would start me around 30. They said "if you're looking to make the most money you can, GO TO DALLAS!!!"

I doubt I will take the job, but I am very grateful for the interviewing experience. The men that I spoke with were a joy to be around and I liked talking with them. The pay was a BIIIIIG stopping block, but there's no shortage of good Christian love in that workplace. God bless and thank you, Iberia Communications.
