Okay, all those who are all-knowing, raise your hands.....exactly. How is it that other people can always relate to where you're coming from and know how you feel, yet when you try to be empathetic to their situations, "you don't know what it feels like to so-and-so"? What makes them so dinively sacred that you cannot tap into a dang thing they do, yet they have your life mapped out already and know where you're going? I understand age plays a factor, though. Having been around means that you've had time to be exposed to a lot of things, but it's no guarantee. Nobody knows EVERYTHING about anybody. Knowing that fact, how the hell do you know WHAT a person can or can't relate to?! Who are you to shut down someone immediately when they make a statement regarding how you feel?! Sizing someone up does NOT mean you know everything about that person! Take a minute to absolutely find out before you make bold statements like that. *sigh* I'm done. Thanks.
