- Do you feel that women like to be pampered materially and/or financially?
- If so, how are men to be pampered, or should they be pampered at all?
- If not, how do women like ot be pampered?
- Is there even a need to pamper the opposite gender period?
Of course with asking more than one person, I got a nice variety of answers. Some of the women said that a material and financial pampering was somewhat of a necessity. They believed it was an important aspect, because giving of yourself and the things that you are able to share shows care for the person. However, they believed that it should be two-sided. Some believed that pampering was to be done, but not financially or materially. They believed that women crave being pampered with time and little things that don't necessarily involve intense monetary expenditures, but shows thought and care for the person on a deeper level. Then, there were some that believed that pampering can lead to superficiality, emotional laziness, and materialism. They believed that focusing on what you can give someone takes away from the main focus, which should be on the person.
However, a running trend I was finding was that a lot of the women I asked were quick to answer every question but the second one. They had a mile of things to say about what they wanted and how a woman should be treated, but the male aspect was left in darkness, as if I had to re-iterate my point about our pampering. When I asked, I was given a one-liner like "they should be pampered, too," giving no expounding thoughts on why and how. Some replied that a man should be pampered physically and edibly. Some believed that a compliment here and there would suffice. Some just avoided it all together.
I would just like to say that as a man, we do like to be pampered. We cannot be brushed off by an ocassional ego or penile stroke. We are not limited to eating food and being served with a moist vagina. We like being taken out, massaged, thoughtful ideas, consideration for how our day was. We are not against a token here and there, we like our emotions taken into consideration. We are not just egomaniacs, beating our chests. With the same way you can expound paragraphs on what a woman likes, remember that before we are men, we are people. Consider us as such. Thank you Luv y'all much.
