Ladies, I gotta tell you something. I'm speaking on the "being mean to be nice" thing. The yelling, the beligerence, the rudeness, the fake attitudes, and pushing away, all in the name of flirting. Some men find this behavior attractive. I, however, find this behavior belittling and a waste of time. I had one woman threaten to get out of my car in the middle of traffic. Me being the person that I am (in addition to being wildly bewildered), I did not. However, had she tried that crap again, I would've let her out. This damn fake crying, and pushing me away when I try to console her is no good. I don't function well with signals, as I've made wildly clear. That Hootie & the Blowfish song "Let Her Cry" comes to mind. Though the actual song may have nothing to do with it, but the hook is RIGHT on point (go pull up the lyrics if you don't know them). If I acted like I hated the woman, the woman would think I hated her and would avoid me as such. Why can't women think like women and respond like a woman would to a woman's ways? Nuts, indeed.
