Well, I'm back on the block! I was out of commission something serious this past week, because my car wouldn't start. Last Saturday, I was on my way to get it checked out, and BAM! It wouldn't start! After trying to figure my options, I realized I had to take it in. The bad thing about that is that most of the mechanics in the area who would have done it for a LOT less than the big corporations were pretty much wiped out a year and a half ago. I was out of options and I needed a fix FAST! So, I gave in and paid a tow truck to take Angel to Midas. After a couple days of no news, the receptionist called and said I needed a new starter. I authorized the work to be done, and later that day, I got the call: "you can come pick up your little car." I got my tail over there and picked her up, delighting in hearing her start right up.
Lesson here: don't neglect getting your stuff checked out. If you sense a problem, GET IT LOOKED AT IMMEDIATELY! You never know how much you depend on something essential until you're without it. I felt like a cripple or something without my main means of getting around. Whew! It was GREAT to have that taken care of. Now, I'm singing a brand new song, and I hope for it to continue! Awesomeness!
