Here and Now

Well, as my first non-celebratory post of the new year, I would like to cap off some of the noteworthy things to me in regards to 2007. I wanted to do it in some relative numbered scheme (you know how I do), but I couldn't think of one. Here goes:

  • Starting this blog.
  • The drama started over certain entries in this blog.
  • Seeing Maze live twice.
  • Releasing 5 albums (and selling well over 50).
  • The loss of a president.
  • The loss of James Brown.
  • My travels.
  • The many people I've met.
  • Kenny's Key West.
  • Killing people and bringing them back to life.
  • Getting laid off.
  • Working retail.
  • Starting a career.
  • Seeing my vehicle cross the 375,000 mile mark.
  • The emergence of Ice Grill on a major scale.
  • Becoming a big-time tech.
  • Establishing a life on the Westbank of New Orleans.
  • Moving back into the pre-Katrina home.
  • The loss of Gerald Levert.
  • Suffering a seizure.
  • Learning what insurance will and won't do.
  • Becoming a cologne expert.
  • Making it to 24.
  • Witnessing a 250 GB hard drive crash.
  • Pictures.
  • Learning the beauty of text messages.

As for 2007, here are the things I hope to accomplish in 2007:

  1. Develop a stronger and closer walk.
  2. Strengthen my existing relationships, while looking forward to building strong future relationships.
  3. Get more out of my career.
  4. Release another 3 albums, and expand my music empire.
  5. Get a car.
  6. Get an apt.
  7. Decide where I want to live.
  8. Getting back with you all in Blogland.

Just a start. Show me whatcha got, 2007!!! I'm off to Kenny's.
