Questions

Relationships, relationships, relationships. It's always been the rage. I think that aside from race relations, male-female relationships are the most talked about topic in the world. There are always questions that people have (some more than others). I have listed some of the more common ones I've heard, in addition to questions that have boggled my mind as well. I'm all about inspiring thought in '07. Again, in no particular order:

  1. Why do men/women have to suffer because of a person's previous relationship with a person they had NOTHING to do with? If I didn't do the crime, why am I serving the time?
  2. Why can't people honor appointments that THEY set?
  3. Why do men drag women along for months, making them think that they want a relationship when all they want is just sex?
  4. If people say they don't like something, why can't they not like it all across the board?
  5. Why do men/women act offended when they are perceived as they first appear?
  6. If you really care for someone, why can't you respect their mind when they say something you don't like?
  7. When will people realize the long-term destructive nature of male-bashing songs?
  8. Why can't a string of bad relationships ever be YOUR fault? Why must 5 different times a relationship didn't work out mean that you must be a lesbian?
  9. When will men ever develop patience?
  10. When will women ever develop patience?
  11. Why are old relationships you know are bad for you the hardest to let go of?
  12. What is with certain people and their attachment complexes? Just because I met you and you have my phone number, it does NOT mean that I am suddenly your mate!
  13. Will marriage ever stop being an event of convenience for some people? Just because you've ran out of sweet things to do for your mate, marriage is not the answer.
  14. Why do people associate money with how much you care for someone?
  15. Why do women in relationships seek counsel from a congregation of single women?
  16. Why do women use guys for stuff at the club (drinks, club admission, etc.)
  17. Why do men allow themselves to be used like that?
  18. Why can't women understand that sometimes, things go wrong because WE are having some issues? "It's not you, it's me" is NOT always a cop out!
  19. Why are people judged by the worst relationship they've had? Why is that the relationship that everybody remembers?
  20. What's so bad about traveling to see somebody?
  21. Why do people try to persuade people against something because it's something they couldn't see THEMSELVES doing? I guess it's really all about you, huh?
  22. Why do people's personal insecurities ruin perfectly functioning relationships?
  23. When will people stop going to psychics for love?
  24. What's so bad about meeting someone you met online?
  25. What the hell are "games"?
  26. Why can't some topics become talked about and be OVER with?
  27. Why are other women all a woman can talk about when dealing with someone she's interested in sometimes? Wouldn't that...TAKE AWAY from the attention between you two and make him think ABOUT those other women more?
  28. What is it about sex that turns relationships into black holes? I'm talking about before the act, where people are afraid to even bring it up.
  29. Why do people who have nothing to with a relationship have the power to make or break it?
  30. What is with the "soon as I'm with you, your friends/family members are more attractive to me" thing?
  31. What is about a "beautiful" set of T&A that makes them unforgettable?

I'm just asking. If anybody knows, PLEASE clue me in.
