A Good Man Is Gone

LaVoyce Marshayne Dyer
August 9, 1979-March 11, 2008

This was my cousin. We grew up around the corner from each other. This was the man who taught me how to play Nintendo, play touch football, and make due when I was in the Lower 9. Though we were not as close locationally as we grew up, there is still a great deal of integrity and masculinity I have because of the seeds this man has planted in me. Words cannot describe the grief that my family and I are feeling right now. We thank those of you that have sent condolences.

Voyce, we mourn you till we join you. Keep shining your light down upon us, and make sure it's poppin' for us when we see you again. We love you dearly, and you have a part of all of us with you. We will rep it for you till the end, homie!

Me and Lavoyce were in the military together, became friends, & eventually lovers for a short period of time I've been thinking about him for a great while now>>especially after Katrina. We lost contact but I still loved him dearly>> Im heart broken to see that he has passed on. I wasnt expecting to see this..just hoping to get back in contact with him.. my prayers are with the family immensely>> I really am sorry and extremely saddened by this.> DAMN!!!!!!!!
