Cloud Nine

In this blog, I want to give props to a wonderful movie:

This movie is definitely an artistic treasure, both dramatically and musically. The actors most definitely are not only good at being in character, but they really had the Temps down, as far as the steps, arrangements, clothing, etc. I was up until like 1:30 this morning watching it. I won't give it away if you haven't seen it, but I will say that Leon's portrayal of David Ruffin is something of comedic legend. It really makes me want to read the book that this movie was based on (I think I will go out and buy it today). Otis is a pioneer and a rock, and I'm glad he put this out on the table to give those who weren't behind the scenes an inside look into the lives of the immortal, tempting Temptations. R.I.P. to David, Eddie, Paul, and Blue. You live on through the music forever.
