Shake

Well, I'm back. It was a wonderful experience. I got there VERY early, before the security and ID checkers had time to set up, so I wasn't frisked AT ALL!! My DJ Friend was still setting up, so I got to see that process. I handed him my beat CD and told him to check them out. He started up the bounce music and said he would. Eventually, he gets to hear it and says he loves one of the tracks and proceeds to PLAY IT!! There weren't any people on the dance floor yet, but the people at the bar were bouncing to it.

Time goes by and people begin filing in. The music comes in and the booties are shaking and I was taken to another place. The nostalgic good times I had with the bounce music came rushing to me. There were things I remembered and things I wish I HADN'T remembered, but it was all so familiar. Like this one female who was built to take people's money. Posterior for days. Of course, when a guy tried to dance with her, she was too good for him and went off on him promptly.

Anyway, hours go by, and I go about dancing to the tune of a 74% success rate (I'm getting back in my groove) and I'm starting to wind down. Then, around 3 am, this one-armed guy takes the mic and starts yelling about Soulja Slim. He said that he's so loyal, he wears a SS shirt every day and that Slim liked girls shaking their asses. By then, the Soulja Slim music came on and I had my cue to leave. I told my DJ friend goodbye and left.

I'm here now, eating cereal and commenting on my good night. I have also created another partyology theory, the 10 Club Commandments, 5 for males, 5 for females. I will post it later, because I'm tired. Thanks for the prayers.
