Without Us

Man, some shows got really lucky, theme song-wise. Shows like Family Ties, The Andy Griffith Show, Taxi, Welcome Back Kotter, Cheers, Good Times, Family Matters, and Night Court all had little ditties that we still hum to ourselves from time to time. Songs that you hear that automatically take you to a place of escapism and really draw you into the show. Kudos to the Dave Grusins and Bob Jameses and Bobby McFerrins of the world, who continue to write and provide the hit 30 second clips we tune into with each syndicated showing of our golden oldies. The music LIVES!!!
