I want you to picture something for me...
You awaken to the smell of a cooked breakfast. You sleepily slide into the kitchen, where you find a wonderful man over the stove cooking for you. Afterwards, he fixes your plate and kisses you on the forehead before pulling out your chair for you. He sits down and asks you about your rest while you eat. You get ready and head out to work, and he gives you the biggest hug and kiss before you go. You arrive at work to find flowers waiting for you. sporadically and randomly, he calls you just to hear your voice and sweep you off your feet. You float on through your work day and you can't wait to get back home to him. You get home and find him suited up, waiting to take you out to dinner. He walks with you and asks you about your day while you change clothes. He walks you to the car and opens your door for you. The whole ride to the restaurant, he holds your hand and lets you sleep off the stress from work.Unbeknownst to you, he already reserved a booth at your favorite restaurant. You get to the booth right away, where there is a single candle burning your favorite scent in the middle of the table. He sits across from you, holding your hand. he says that the candle symbolizes the fire that burns between you. You all order and while you wait for the food, he says nothing. he just looks into you eyes like a sponge, soaking up you and the moment. Your food comes and he offers to say grace, not only thanking the Lord for the food, but thanking Him for you as well. You enjoy your dinner and as the waiter comes to pick up your dishes, the hired singers sings your favorite love song to you, pulling a hankerchief from his suit pocket right on time to catch your tear, kissing it after it catches the tear. After the dinner, he takes you home and says nothing. He gets you home and carries you to the bed. He sits you down gently and sits at the foot and takes your shoes off, pulls out lavender oil, and begins to massage your feet, while softly humming "your song". Afterwards, he gently takes your dinner attire off and hands you the pajamas. You change and he pulls back the covers for you to climb in. You get in, and he gets in behind you and spoons you, holding you through the night. Then, you look at the calendar, and see that it's the middle of April.
The point? To let you know that it's not just Valentine's Day that that someone you care about does something special for you. Much luv, y'all.
