You Make Me Do Things I Don't Want To Do

I tell ya, country music has some ill concepts. Right now, I'm listening to a song called "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" by Joe Nichols. I was turned onto this song while I was at ULL (sup Tim). It's all about this woman who gets rather "free" when she begins to drink various types of Tequila. Having never had a drop of Tequila in my life, I was clueless to what Patron was or how to spell it (thanx Leah!). Yet, the song is smooth as all get out. It doesn't BLARE your ears deaf or get so mellow that you can't get into it. It's a song I could DEFINITELY see being played in a bar or something, like Bennagin's or one of those pub-ish places (O'Charley's maybe).

Don't sleep on country music. It's got some cool stories in it. I remember when I used to think that country music was easy to do. Just fake that "country" accent and mouth off something about a dog that left or whatever. WRONG! You gotta bring something to the TABLE with country, because you can TELL who knows their country music by the first 3 words that comes out of their mouth.

Back to the Tequila. I hear that Tequila in general is rather potent liquid, let alone any of its derivatives. Not knowing from personal experience, I will take their word for it, judging by the laughs they give me. If any of you have any Tequila stories, do feel free to share, and I'll post them up (in anonymous fashion, of course). For now, here's the song.
