Born To Lose

I was at CompUSA last night, and I got my first look at this X-Box 360 in action. After seeing the demos, I can see why people camp outside of Best Buy for days at a clip to pay $500 for it. Would I do it? Hell no, but I can respect their drive.

Anyway, thinking about the games of today, there's NO WAY I could hang with these youngsters in THIS video game era. They want TOO FRIGGIN' MUCH! Everything has to be 3D, talking, MORE AND MORE AND MORE REALISTIC. They would probably see the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System ("old Nintendo", we call it) and freak out. All we needed was A and B. Not X and triangle and square!!

To each his own, because I had a Playstation 1ne for a few years and I loved it. I wouldn't go any higher than that, unless it were a simple game. I don't have the urge to learn new hand-eye coordination techniques to play this crap. Now don't get me wrong. I'll watch my boy play Grand Theft Auto all day. Me, though, give me the old-school classics and I'm straight. I'll lose the round before the fight starts. BRING BACK THE 2D FIGHTERS!!!!!
