City Stars

Looking up amongst the vast and endless sky
The energy of the cosmos is almost paralyzing
Amongst the black, a light emerges, twinkling
A billion-mile beacon, a celestial chain
The more it takes me in, the more lights I see
Oh, what a spectacle it is, as a smile appears
Gazing to the right, the full moon smiles, too
Ambrosia for the eye, I sink into my paradise
And there you are, right by my side, all aglow
I fall back and sink into a euphoric sleep
Knowing you're with me under the Tahitian moon
