Treat U Rite

Since working at Best Buy, I've run into a broad range of customers that treat us a multitude of ways. The following are a couple of tips to consuder when dealing with retail employees:


  • Please be courteous. The quickest way to get fucked over is to yell and be an asshole. Give respect to get respect.
  • Acknowledge realistic timelines. Not every request can be filled in 5 minutes. We know your time is precious. Calm down.
  • DO NOT INTERRUPT US WHEN YOU SEE US HELPING OTHER CUSTOMERS! Your shit still stinks. Get in line.
  • If you don't see it where it is, and we check and find that there are none left, OUR HANDS ARE TIED. DON'T keep bothering us. Inventory listings are the trump card.
  • I can't speak for all cashiers, but I know when I gotta ring up Geek Squad services, I CAN'T STAND taking checks. GET WITH THE CARDS!!!


Those are all I can think of for right now.
