Impeach the President

Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only one who believes that George Bush has not been right for America. Here's a guy who has pretty much sucked at life, yet has risen to the point of most powerful man on Earth. I guess in his own words, "access is power". He is proof that money and powerful contacts can pay off for you.

From the 9/11 tragedy to the Iraq fiasco to fumbling the Katrina recovery to being on rocky ground with South Korea, these last 7 years have been a real political debacle. I mean, we still don't have Osama bin Laden, despite having control of most of Iraq's oil, gas prices are still high, the energy policy is shot to hell, and most foreign powers have grown even more of a distaste for the US. This sucks.

Good news, though, is that his problems have not only increased my interest in politics, but he's also on his way out soon. Also, it seems as though the Republicans are gonna catch hell over this, so it'll be interesting to see how that plays when the next Congressional election comes along. Only time will tell.
