Let's talk text messaging etiquette. Too often am I bombarded with text messages of forwards of "if you love someone, send it to them" or some risqué double entendre that I could have done without. First off, I'm not a fan of fowards, and I get them too much (once is too often with something like that) on Yahoo as it is. Secondly, because I don't have this endless text messaging plan (I'd rather just call), I get to foot the bill, because it's a dime to send or receive a text message. Although Cingular still rules, the fact that I don't like to utilize the texting is a double edged sword. On the one hand, you want to have texting for emergencies, not to mention minute usage summaries. However, getting these excessively goofy forwards about a hurricane and a coconut does nothing for me. Please, when forwarding a joke or something to someone, check with that person, because it's coming into their space. Not griping or chewing anybody out, but please be mindful.
